October 16, 2020-Mouser Electronics, a global authorized distributor of Electronic components focused on introducing new products, will begin stocking Analog Devices AD7134 precision analog-to-digital converters (ADC) from now on. The inherent anti-aliasing capability of this high-performance four-channel ADC allows it to suppress signals up to 102.5 dB without the need for complex external anti-aliasing filters. This ADC supports a wide range of applications, including electrical testing and measurement, three-phase power quality analysis, sonar, audio testing, and condition monitoring for predictive maintenance.
The Analog Devices AD7134 ADC stocked by Mouser uses a continuous-time Σ-Δ (CTSD) modulation scheme, which eliminates the traditional switched capacitor circuit sampling, thereby relaxing the ADC input drive requirements. The device uses four independent parallel converter channels, each with a CTSD modulator, digital decimation, and filtering path. This ADC can simultaneously sample four separate signal sources. The maximum input bandwidth supported by each signal source is 391.5 kHz, and it has good phase and gain matching between channels. AD7134 supports output data rates up to 1.496 MSPS, with 24-bit low latency, and is ideal for high-precision, multi-channel control loops.
Mouser also has the EVAL-AD7134FMCZ evaluation board, which provides a demonstration platform for the AD7134 ADC. The circuit board includes two pre-installed AD7134 devices to achieve simultaneous sampling of multiple devices. The EVAL-AD7134FMCZ evaluation board requires the EVAL-SDP-CH1Z high-speed controller board to connect to the PC using the USB 2.0 high-speed port.
