Last December, LG released the 2020 Gram series laptop lineup, which included the LG gram 17 (17Z90N), LG gram 15 (15Z90N), LG gram 14 (14Z90N) and the 14-inch LG gram 2-in-1 (model 14T90N). Now, YouTube video blogger Dave Lee got his hands on the 2020 LG gram 17, saying that the 15W processor is limited in performance, but the 17-inch 1.35kg is surprisingly light.

Dave Lee pointed out that the new LG gram 17 still uses the onboard memory + single-slot design, and the wireless network card already supports WiFi 6. In addition, the focus of this update is to upgrade the PCIe SSD, with a read speed of 3300MB/s and a write speed of 2800MB/s. In contrast, the old models are all SATA SSDs. In terms of battery, the new LG gram 17 is equipped with an 80Wh battery, while the previous generation was 72Wh. Dave Lee finally said that the biggest change of LG gram 17 is its cooling module, which has been significantly improved compared to the previous generation. In terms of configuration, the LG gram 17 is equipped with the i7-1065G7 with a PL1 of 15W, and its performance release is not as good as most of the PL1 25W versions, but Dave pointed out that the LG gram 17 is very quiet when working.
