Qorvo’s Custom MMIC portfolio includes high-performance Gallium Nitride (GaN) and Gallium Arsenide (GaA) monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs) for a variety of aerospace, defense and commercial applications.
Qorvo is a leading manufacturer of innovative RF and mmWave solutions, enabling a world where everything is connected. Qorvo recently acquired Custom MMIC, incorporating it into its own Infrastructure and Defense Products (IDP) business unit. The addition of Custom MMIC products further enhances Qorvo’s solution lineup, which now covers the entire RF signal chain for applications such as satellite communications, microwave test equipment, Electronic warfare and advanced phased array radar in the defense market.
Qorvo’s Custom MMIC family of products, now available on Mouser’s website, includes a variety of low-noise amplifiers that provide practical communications solutions for communications applications that require small size and low power consumption. The CMD264P3 6–18 GHz low-noise amplifier (LNA) and evaluation board available from Mouser provide greater than 26 dB of gain, with a 1 dB compression point corresponding to over 12 dBm of output power. The CMD270P3 4–8 GHz LNA is also available (evaluation board coming soon) with an ultra-low noise figure of 1.7 dB and over 16 dB of gain. The noise figure of the CMD307P3 8–16 GHz LNA and evaluation board is as low as 2 dB. These LNAs are 50 ohm matched, eliminating the need for external DC blockers and RF port matching.
The CMD305P3 6–14 GHz driver amplifier is a broadband MMIC with low power consumption and over 20.5 dBm saturated output power. Qorvo’s CMD284P4 DC–22 GHz Distributed Amplifier is a GaAs MMIC that provides ultra-wideband performance in a 4 mm × 4 mm leadless package. In addition, Mouser now also stocks the CMD305P3 evaluation board and the CMD284P4 evaluation board.
